Default Hey You Guys. A fellow CL member from IS-F/SC300 group. Got Question Though

Hey You Guys. I'm a fellow CL member from IS-F/SC300 group. I've Got Question Though regarding my nephew's 2013 F sport Stock wheels.

Is there anyone running 255/35/18-front and 265/35/18-rear "on stock F sport wheels." I believe they are 8 inches wide.

Your kind input will be appreciated!!!

As far as the profile, I have 35s on my oem wheels. The ride feels rougher but that is a given. (Also I'm lowered on coilovers) Someone else will have to chime in on the 255s and 265s. Your wheels staggered 8 & 8.5 I believe.

If they are at a stock ride height, according to another member's posting on here recently, he recently auto-x'd his with 255/35/18s or maybe 19s up front without rubbing.

So you answer your question based on the other member's findings...yes, and he should be fine.

Thanks for the replies. But having 255 on an 8 inch wheel should be ok right? Front. I don't think it'll rub but the concern's more of the width of the tire coming from 225/40/18 and replacing it with a 255.

I'm sure one of you guys have done this on their stock wheels. I just wanted to know if there were any issues.

I have F Sport wheels and having replaced the tires recently. 255 is too wide for the front lol. This is like de-stretch tire and I'm not even sure if it will fit on 8 inch wheel front. If it does, it would rub a bit at high speed bump or when you turn sharply.

Why would you do this set up in the first place??

Oh yeah, it'll fit just fine. Won't even look that odd either; see example of a 255/40 tire on a VM 8" wide wheel :
