Yep, the door panels are a one piece. Switches stay the same (old). Anyways congrats on your panels! They look awesome! Meantime I had my dashboard replaced about six months ago and still no sign to replace the panels. I went to my local Lexus dealer recently for a reminder and they said they have no signals from Lexus headquarters about the door panels. I guess we need more time for it...

Anytime!! Not to get you worried or anything, but It's actually a pretty serious recall, apparently there have been 11 deaths because of this defective unit. For those car in drastically cycling weather patterns, cold to hot, humid to dry, etc. the issue is apparently worse...so much so that they are prioritizing certain cars in geographic locations. There is no official remedy yet but I called Lexus and they advised me to immediately get in contact with a service advisor if your vehicle is on the list. Goodluck!

My guy at Lexus said my panels will be in by end of summer most likely.

Has anybody experienced a large gap above the center vents with the new dashboard? I could almost fit two stacked quarters in the gap.....

Mine are maybe 4 months away, here in Arizona. I called a few months ago and they said 6 months.

That gap at center of dash above the a/c vents makes me made. I'm on original dash and I also have a ridiculous gap there, plus the creaks/pops/sounds that emanate from that area. It drives me absolutely CRAZY.

Dash has been replaced already. Got notified that the door panels are in, so dropping off car today to get those done. Probably will have them look into the airbag issue next.

Wow, lucky you! Where are you in CA? I talked to my service manager at Lexus of Westminster and he said it will still be months before we hear anything because the supply from Japan for door panels is really, really slow.

so i just called lexus of Tampa and they said there is a list of 800 waiting and i am number 325. i should have asked is that in the whole US, Florida or just that dealership? lol.

So question is, even though next year when my 07' runs the 10 year course of the extended warranty, will Lexus still honor the panels? this is assuming, it will take that long to change.
