Finally getting my new dash tomorrow in FL but the dealership stated the door panels were still on back order. Anyone know how long the door panel replacement parts are taking?

I finally got the customer relations manager from my dealer on the phone, apparently this is just not going to happen with them. They have 900 people on the list just for an RX dash, the IS list is "only" 300 long but they haven't still have not done any. I've been waiting 18 months. Of course in reality, it's been way longer than that really, since I've been at them for years before they even released the warranty enhancement.
I wonder if it'd be worth getting on the list somewhere else. Of course I'd be starting from the bottom, but maybe I'd get on a list that is actually moving. It wouldn't have mattered if I was #1 on the list where I'm at, it still wouldn't be done.

Lexus knew about defected dash way before the warranty was expired. Now they can't produce the replacements on purpose, because its gonna cost them couple of thousands per.
Bringing another lawsuit is the only way to have a positive result.

I agreed!
Lexus is dragging its feet in order to avoid costly repair and hoping some owners will never press forward.
My last contact with them is "wait" is what they 've told me since Oct 2015.

I don't think it's that, I think they don't have it in their budget to replace all the panels. As I mentioned before in this thread, when I got my dash replaced, the service manager told me that each car that gets the dash and door panels replaced can cost Lexus between 9-12K. Now multiply that by how many cars are affected. Even she said she doesn't think Lexus can afford it.
Still no updates on the door panels.

Hey guys, I have a 2011 is350 and my dash has a few spots where it melted. When I purchased the car, I assumed Lexus had fixed the melting dash issue, but I can see now that they didn't.
My questions is, has anyone else heard of the dash melting in the later model years? I only hear about people with '06 to '09 years.
My last question, if I brought my car to the dealer and made a big fuss over the melted dash, do you think they would help me out? Btw my warranty is expired

I got my dash board replaced last week however they did not replace the Glove Compartment. It looks bad because the old Glove Compartment is a different sheen and also has that tacky sticky feel/problem to it. I called the dealer and they said that they replace the dash but not the Glove Compartment, that I should write a letter to corporate about this and they will maybe help me? Has anyone else had an issue with this? Did they replace your Glove Compartments too?
Thanks
Thanks
