Download the file above named "@@@@LOGO.fll" Put the update file(@@@@LOGO.fll ) into the boot directory of the SD card and
insert to Unit, then start up the unit, press your finger on the center of the touch screen, don’t release your finger until the entire screen appears bright Green.
After that it will ask for a password which is “1630” and press the Enter / Return icon.
A new set of options will appear. Press the "Update Logo" option to start the logo update.
After the logo update, the system will restart automatically, and you should have your new custom boot up logo.
The end result should look something like this.
I read a bunch of old threads about holding the gear in the setting to get to a hidden logo selector and another one about simply creating a Bitmap image named LOGO.BMP and placing it in the root of the SD card but none of that worked.
Finially after hours of Googling I found the Fly Audio " DIY Logo Tool" and was able to generate the "@@@@LOGO.fll" file required to change the logo on the newer units.
Here are the rest of the files if anyone needs it.
Use this to change the boot logo on the after market Navi.
Can someone help me on this? I have uploaded this file into SD card, when trying to enter the specail menu - nothing works. I've been holding the fibger on the screen for ages and nothing worked out. Tried like 15 times on the startup and nothing. Am I doing smth wrong? Is my finger not right? or am I blind and not able to find the center of the screen?
Thanks man!) I've already read all the threads mentioned there. And somehow when I try to change to logo via bmp file "Logo" after restart I have some kind of dos menu, that says "the size of the logo file is abnormal".
Howewver when I changed again the D2280 folder everything worked fine with the "L" logo - I wanted antother one but the way it is now is also OK to me. Still interested how do other people change the boot logo easily and for me it is such a pain in the /// .
