Default 2009 AWD wheels rotation sound at high speeds?

I started noticing that I can hear the sounds of my wheels rotating on the highway. It is a very slight sound but I know that the faster I'm driving, the faster the rotation sounds. I took it into a tire shop to get my alignment fixed and get the wheel bearing checked out. I saw some articles on bad wheel bearing sounds at higher speeds. My tire guy said he couldn't find anything wrong. Anyone else have this issue? Help!

Certain tires can be very noisy. IIRC Hankook and Continential tires are noted to get noisier as they wear down. My Goodyear Eagle GTs are quite noisy on the highway and am planning on switching them to Michelin Primacy MXM4s when the Eagle GTs have run their course (a plus is that they handle better and are better in terms of comfort).

Wouldn't hurt to have them look at the tires. If you got a defective set in the front; then that would make a lot of sense.

My tires are nearing a year old so they are fairly new and not worn as I've driven less than 8000 miles on them. I got all weather tires on them and they are a bit noisier. But is it the rotating sounds you hear or just bumps against the road? The other weird thing is that I can only hear the rotating whish whish sound on certain types of road. Maybe the noisier roads drown out the sound. I can hear it on some roads at about 40 mph and others at around 60 mph.

I actually had this same problem with my 2010 IS 250 AWD with non-staggered 18" OEM optional rims.

It happened right after they installed 4 brand new tires (I have had nothing but Michelin PS A/S tires since new).

I took it back to the Lexus dealer when I noticed it and they did in fact find a faulty tire!

Here's an update - I got my alignment done and also my tires rotated. The guys that did the rotation told me one of my wheels was slightly bent. I don't think this is what makes the noise however - the bent wheel got rotated to the back. I am still hearing the whoosh whoosh wheel sound at high speeds. This is so frustrating
