Default Anyone tried running 18" front and 19" in the rear???

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried running 18s in the front and 19s in the rear? I know back in the day they did that with the 300zx and what not. But I was just curious if any 250/350 owners ever gave it a thought

yes it is done on a few VIP vehicles. The term "staggered" is what it is called. Here a quick google pic of a staggered GS300.

Staggered fitment where the rim size is different is much more rare on the the forums than running different wheel widths (which is commonplace here and have various threads on that).

I know that Corvettes run that kind of setup, I assume that as long as you have the right tires that have the same overall diameter, you should be able to run it. It will definitely be the first I've seen on this forum.

Yes, several have done such a setup; also with 19s and 20s in the rear I believe.

Yup, a few members have done 19/20. The big rear of this car makes the rear wheel look smaller in some angles... So it actually looks good IMO

I thought the same thing. Back in the day I thought only high hp rear wheel drive cars did it for traction purposes. I would like to see pics too to prove my brain wrong

On RWD models, the car has an almost 1-inch larger rear diameter from the factory, but it's all tire. If you run a staggered diameter on the wheels, you actually end up with the same (or really close) sidewall height front and rear, instead of the rear having a taller sidewall like it does from the factory.

Looks good, in my opinion.

I got it in Amazon. Takes a lot of finesse to get it to fit tho
