Default Sewellparts.com closing (merged Sewell Parts alternatives threads)

Went online today to look at parts and found a surprising notice, not sure if any of you already knew but sewellparts.com will be closing March 1,2015.

edit- I forgot to add parts in the title.

That blows they had best prices online especially with the CL member discount.

Wow. Seems like Sewell's was the go-to vendor on this forum. Any other sites out there like Sewells, that can quickly identify a part numbers using that type blueprints/schematics?

So disappointed. I wonder why they are curtailing online sales. Pressure from Lexus, maybe? I loved Sewell.

I wonder if they would honor a clublexus discount on call in orders. I used to buy a lot of items from Tousley Ford over the phone for my SVTContour and they gave a nice forum discount.

What a bummer! I was planning on ordering parts next month too.

I live in Dallas, I wonder if they'll still apply CL discounts if I stop in.

I thought something was up when Sewell didn't have their usual Black Friday deals.

Dang, that sucks. I just made a good amount of orders with them in the past couple of days. Looks like I need to buy the F Sport sways before it's too late.

Nooo.
Does anyone know why?
I wonder if they will accept Call-In orders or If we order through their dealer website.
Dam. I'm planning to buy a used IS-F later this year or early next....And I may need to buy some accessories or parts for it...

I just logged in to look up thermostat and water pump prices (not heat from the vents at idle but plenty at 1,500 rpm) and saw the same notification? Sewell is a member on the forum, care to chime in? I have spent about $1,000 with them on products that would have cost me more than double that from my local Lexus dealer. Sucks if they are closing up and bowing out, seriously..........
