Hi all,
Thanks ahead of time for the help. I have a 2007 IS 250 with AWD and electronic ignition. Its been cold and snowy here in Virginia, and I've been away for about 2-weeks, so the car has just been sitting there. Prior to this was running without issues, the last drive I took prior to it being parked was probably 10-15 miles.
Went to start the car today, the car recognized the key and doors unlocked, all electronics turned on including radio, everything looked good. Depressed the brake pedal, start button light turned green, and went to start the car. The ignition turns over a bunch of times for about 7 seconds, and the car sounds like it really wants to start, but just can't get there. Its not that cold out today, 50 degrees and rainy.
Things I've tried:
- Depressed both the brake and gas pedals all the way to the floor, and attempted to start. I read about this on another forum. It seemed to get closer with this maneuver but still would not start.
- Tried with jumping the battery from another car, no go.
- Checked spark plugs and connections, they all appear to be in good condition and I'm not seeing any sparks at the connections when attempting to start the car in the dark.
- Made sure I have gas, which I do.
I'm really hoping for some other ideas before I have to get the car towed to the dealer, which is 50+ miles away... I don't want to tow it to a local shop and have them not be able to fix it, but might be worth it depending on towing cost. I really love this car and hope that this isn't too major of an issue...
Any ideas?

Posting in hopes that maybe this helps someone.
I forgot that before parking the car for 2-weeks, I had actually moved it from one spot to another. Plus it was pretty cold for those two weeks, so I tried jumping the car again. This time left the cables attached for about 5-minutes prior to starting the car. When I went to start the car, again depressed the gas ALL THE WAY to the floor. I have electronic ignition, and the car started right up. No problems now and running smoothly.
