Default iPod CD/AUX Display Issue

I have a stocked, no Nav stereo, and after I got an oil change, it stops showing the artist, song name, or even track. It displays in other modes (CD, radio, etc.) but nothing from my iPod. Which is weird cause it's been fine for 5 years.

Searched and searched, and couldn't find an answer. I hope someone here might know how to fix this.

What iPod integration solution are you using? (assuming third-party, since the 2006 IS250 you list in your profile does not have iPod integration built in)

Yes, it's a 3rd party adapter. Sorry don't remember the name.

What's really weird is, before, I can press the CD button 3 times. One time for the CD changer, another for the iPod adapter, and the third time for AUX. And now AUX is gone.

Normally the "AUX" position only appears if there is a device plugged into the jack in the center console.
