Car radio doesn't work when it rains outside
Hey CL, ever since I got my 2006 is350 I've been having problem with my factory radio( I have navi btw) when it raining outside my speakers wont work every thing else works, climate control, navi, ect... I changed the amp, still having the same problem. I removed all the door panels to see if water is getting inside , everything seem fine. I searched everywhere and nothing . I know that water is shortening the system because I can hear a loud boom when I turn on the radio, I just don't know where???? I have to wait for the car to get dry for the radio to start working again ... Does anybody here has have this problem????? Or have any idea what can be the problem?? Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Sounds like a moisture problem. Might I recommend start using Ramp-Rid in the trunk and in the cabin. Perhaps over time a ground wire has gotten corroded? Has the car ever been in an accident?
