Hey guys! So, starting last week, I turned my car on, and a grinding/rattling noise came from the engine, and I'm not sure what is going on here. The noise gets a little louder as I accelerate as well. This issue is happening intermittently. Happened once last week and then again today. Was wondering if anyone could give their two cents on what could be the issue? I recorded a video so I can include that. Thanks for any comments or responses!
Rattling Noise
I just made an appointment with Lexus dealership tomorrow morning, and they said it would cost $200 for diagnostic, or if it is related to recall they wouldn't charge. That sounds a bit ridiculous to check that issue seeing as I'm not sure if that is a recall problem.

So the dealership tried to charge me 1070 for replacing the water pump. I managed to negotiate by having them price match another auto shop I called, so they're replacing water pump, thermostat, gasket, and coolant for 675 + tax. I'll update in a few weeks (hopefully I remember) to confirm if it runs well. Thanks a lot for the reponses guys!

My 2006 IS350 with 123k miles starting to have similar noise as well (only happened twice in the past couple weeks). Since the water pump is original to the car, i am having my mechanic replacing it as we speed. He is a full time Toyota mechanic and works on the side; he is charging me $420 with all Toyota parts.
