2011 IS 250 - Can the seat belt chime be disabled?
I hate the seat belt chime. I don't mind the light blinking. Can the chime be disabled?
I do drive with my seatbelt but at times I'm just sitting in my car parked for a bit and hate the chime going off constantly.

We have the answer linked right in the FAQ post that is stickied at the top of this forum (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...iy-thread.html). Link to thread about turning off seatbelt chime from that thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ml#post1588110
If you haven't already done so, I recommend familiarizing yourself with that FAQ. Lots of good information there.

How long were you pressing on the ODO button? Some guides recommend pressing it for 30secs before putting the seatbelt on while the car is in battery mode (not started but windows and AC works).

Seatbelt chime FYI
I think I know why my seatbelt buzzer won't respond to the shut off procedure. I have an aftermarket remote starter on the car and these starters can render certain convenience features useless. An example is the steering wheel memory position. This is now deactivated (only when I use the remote starter). When I don't remote start it the car, it remembers my position. I am pretty confident that this is what's going on. I'll just live with it.
