Default Unplugged Battery now check VSC

Hi, I unplugged my battery on my 06 is250 and after I hooked it back up I fired the car up. It ran for a second then died. I pushed the start button again and it fired up just fine and it runs good. Only thing is that the "VSC" light came on and won't turn off. This happened a couple weeks back and the light still hasn't turned off after going through all the drive cycles.

Any ideas?

Hmm the same thing happened to my 350 when changing to a new battery. For me it will go away after driving it a couple times. Maybe try unplugging the terminals again and try again.

You can always try to get a code from your local auto
Zone.

Icy is right. Read the codes and find out why the check engine light is on.

Also, are you leaving out a potentially relevant part of the story? Why did you disconnect the battery in the first place?
