I hear slight braking noise after brake job at dealer
Just had a brake job and turned rotors on all 4 wheels at the dealer. 2008 IS 250 with only
39000 miles.
After getting the car back I hear a slight rubbing type noise that I believe is coming from front brakes.
Brakes seem to work fine. I just read that it takes time for coating on brake pads to wear down
Should I be concerned? What is the break-in period for bedding the new brakes? I never heard any
sound at all previously. It's not real loud but it is perceptible whenever I apply the brakes.
Your opinion would be appreciated.
Cheers

Brake noise doesn't mean there is a problem at all. My carbotech are loud as hell. Did you put on stock brake pads? If you really do not want any noise, you should use ceramic pads instead of semi-metallic pads. Also if you are just hearing it when the brakes are cold, that is normal with any metallic brake pad.
