Now once you get above ~100mph the IS-F is significantly faster, but hopefully you aren't doing that often on public roads. IMO, the IS-F isn't worth the additional price over the IS350 as a daily driver, especially considering the gas mileage hit you take. But the ISF would make a better track car and it might depreciate less. Also if you are looking to add intake/headers/exhaust the IS-F will make a much greater amount of additional horsepower compared to the same mods on an IS350.
Best explaination by far! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

i thought about it too, but having the Is350 since 07' i just cant get into pretty much the same interior as really the only thing i love about it is the V8 and some additional exterior styling. might a used RC-F in a couple years though.

Really not the same. Dash is different, especially on later models. Seats are different (fronts are real buckets and backs seat two due to rear console. And trim is carbon fiber. Really, quite different IMHO.

I..S..F..!! The car is pretty darn fast, and its very uncommon. The car is a big improvement in the engine, interior, and exterior department!

Sound like the ISF was burning tire off the line and that it only 1/8 of mile is short of a race. Having a faster car one thing knowing how to launch it off the lines another. We all know for a fact ISF is quicker cause that like say is250 can beat the 350. To the OP i see your selling your car and moving out the country so this is a point less thread now.

I can pretty easily answer this question because my mom owns an ISF and I own an IS350 awd. Both are fast, but as long as you can keep the back tires sticking, the isf will leave the 350 in the dust. You need to determine what you are looking for. I choose the is350 because I needed to drive it in the winter with snow, while you can drive the ISF in the snow, but it is not fun (despite the snow button). Interior wise they are fairly similar, but she has a 2008 and I have a 2013, and boy does technology change a lot in those 5 years.

Happy shopping.

Easy, the ISF spun the tires. The ISF had bad launch spun tires with more than 100hp and 100ft lbs of tq over IS350 it happens all the time. I've seen 717hp Hellcats and 800hp Demons lose to cars that made half hp, if they spin enough 1,2,3 gears they lost race. In drag race hooking getting traction off line first is half race. That's videos doesn't prove IS350 is faster or has 1/4 mile time constantly. It just proves ISF had bad launch and IS350 with lower hp and tq was able to get traction hook and launch better that day, driver skill comes into play and yes these are automatic cars and you can still blow race. Also IS350 has excellent gears for 0 to 100 but start to fall on its face at 100mph where ISF will pull and pull up to 170mph. If you have tune and speed limiter disable then more than that. I had 2008 SFP IS350 with Fsport exhaust and suspension was no where near what my stock ISF felt like or sounded like. The only thing that IS350 really had was just cool seat in reality on very hot day they didnt work that great. All it reallly does is add weight. The cool seats Never made you bottom feel ice cold, it blows air up through perforated leather. ISF is focused Sport performance car sedan, the IS350 is sporty car with nice luxury features with very complaint softer ride. These Two cars aren't just different becsuse one has V8 the V6 just because they share visually 70% of it's look to it smaller siblings doesn't make them same. There so much more. When comparing ISF to IS350/IS250 and verts which are even heavier and slower. The ISF, is more than a sum to its performance parts when compared to IS/350, IS250 and verts they all had specific roll to play. BWW does it, as well as Mercedes and Audi nothing new.
