Default How far can I drive on bad rear wheel bearings?!?

2007 is250, stock, 220,000 miles. After replacing my rear axle half shafts, I must have over tightened the axle nuts. Then, I went out of town on a 500+ mile trip. About 100 miles into the trip, I started getting a groaning sound from the rear. I continued for the duration of the trip... 400 miles. I made it home ok. Now I need to wait for parts to arrive.... can I drive it for another couple hundred miles???

Thanks.....

Jim

I would think if the noise is the same after the 400 miles it should be fine, check for play by jacking up the rear wheels and check for play. The bearing is probably dry of grease and they usually get louder the more miles you put on them.
