Just got a spoiler for my IS350, painted and all, the thing I was concerned about was leaving in or removing the inset nuts that are on the spoiler. Do I just put the 3M tape over that section or is the concern that the inset nuts will abrade through the tape and scratch the trunk? What is the general consensus on this? Also, the seller provided a little roll of 3M tape and adhesion promoter, is the adhesion promoter safe for the clearcoat? Sorry, just trying to be as non destructive as possible.
