Default 06 IS350 -- No bluetooth audio

Looking for a workaround to get bluetooth audio going without replacing the whole nav system with a new one. Anyone use the BT adaptor that plugs into the aux port? Any other ideas?

Like WORKD250 said this will work! Exact setup I'm running. Pairs up well with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. I also bought a ground loop noise isolator. I was getting a lil hissing sound and this took care of it. Not very expensive.

Most Bluetooth and USB kit will do the job. As for hissing sound, you should hard wire the ground to good grounding point I state of using stock ground. I grounded mine to 2 grounding point and no hissing sound at all

I use the same ground loop isolator as roboeclips, needed if you get static/whining noise from the engine. (There was a TSIB from Lexus to install a similar device (out of sight) at no charge, but all the cars it was applicable to are now out of warranty)

If you have a Samsung Galaxy or other phone that supports the aptX codec, I'd recommend buying one of the Bluetooth adapters that also supports it, as you'll get higher quality sound. I use this one:

same car as yours, this is the setup I use with my iphone, works perfect, takes phone calls nice as well, I keep everything in the console and plug into that aux port

I do have custom grounding on my car at 16 points (4 gauge) to make sure it has good ground!!! I know it's overkill but not hurt at all.

You have a 2008, which probably wouldn't have the noise even if you hadn't done anything, as Lexus added an isolation transformer (noise filter) to the aux line to address the issue. For 2006-2007 owners, Lexus had a TSIB to add the same parts -- see below:
