Just got a '09 350 CPO yesterday. Salesman and one of the dealership's "techie" guys could not transfer my contacts. Phone would connect but as soon as we hit "transfer contacts" the phone would immediately disconnect. The NAV software was 8.1 (?) but they said it would not have any bearing on the connectivity of the phone/NAV system.

I have googled for several hours and got all kinds of possible solutions. I am trusting some of you can really get me focused in the right direction and maybe just have a simple fix.

You need a 2010+ Lexus with Generation 6 navigation to allow contact transfer. On these Gen 5 systems you can enter the contacts manually, but the contact transfer button does not work. There was a Sony Ericsson phone back in the day that could do it but that was the only phone to my knowledge.
