Daytime Running Light Suggestions?
So to my understanding, the daytime running lights on our model cars are the same bulbs used for the high beams.
So my question is has anyone successfully changed out that bulb to get a different color as a daytime runner other than that factory yellow?
Any suggestions on good brands?
I have an okay H.I.D set up for now but my daytime runners aka high beams are still that factory yellow .... ewwww

You can take your IS to Lexus, best to take it to Toyota cause they charge less, and they have the option to turn them off via computer. I've heard some not paying which too me is the right thing for the dealer to do. Certain dealers take care of their customers ie BMW, Mercedes ect.

I've always wanted bright yellow DRL's but yellow halogens run at half power do not look yellow enough unless you look at it straight on.
I don't really want to go with yellow LED 9005's with decoders.

You mean it looks little orangish? I thought it looks kinda orange.
You can do have it done at a dealer that might or might not charge you. I bought an OBD thing that plugs into a place below the steering wheel that let's me change settings and such for $20. It takes about 5 minutes.

I personally unplugged the high beam lights since I didn't like the yellowish lights.
But if you buy one of those techstream cables from Amazon/ebay for $20. You can DIY and turn off the DRL light.
