So I was told by the forum that building my own exhaust would be cheaper and better than outright buying a Magnaflow exhaust online.
My only problem is that I know nothing about exhausts and how I would go about building one for my 2010 Lexus IS250.
Help?

I think what they meant was, go to a reputable exhaust shop and have them build you a custom exhaust. In my experience with my previous vehicles, it was cheaper for me to go that route because I did not want to buy the name brand exhausts that were being sold. Going this route also gives you the option of picking your muffler, Exhaust tips, x-pipe, H-pipe, True duel, etc. I would just price around and check reviews on the shops.
