Default F sport intake tube

Hey everyone, sorry if this has been asked already. But I was wondering, seeing as how the Joe z intake increases power by just replacing the rubber tube alone, would replacing the rubber tube with JUST an F sport intake tube bring the same benefit??

I ask because every time I've called l tuned parts, they say the Joe z intake is still not in stock. And I figured if the F sport tube and just the tube alone does the same thing, then why not just get that? Thanks everyone.

Yes, you'll see the same benefit as you would with a Joe Z intake. If you want to emulate the sounds provided by the F-Sport intake box, you can cut a hole on the front portion of the stock lower intake box.

A benefit of the FSport Tube is also that you can get a sticker for it to be CARB approved for emissions in California. Not sure the JoeZ one has the certification, so you'd need to swap it out with the stock to pass the visual portion of the emissions test.

Thanks, I already have the F Sport air box , so I was just curious if adding this tube does the same thing as the Joe Z one would.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Do you know where I could order those? Also does the Joe Z come with those already?

Yes Joe Z comes with couplings. If your gonna order the fsport piece meal, you have to get the pipe and couplings, which makes it more $ then Joe Z. I got mine from lexus sewell. Try calling them.
