Are the tailights for the 2is all compatible? What I mean is could we use 06-08 inners and 09+ outlets? And vice versa. Has this been done?

I like the inners for 06-08 but also like the outers only for 09+, really dislike the 09+ inners.

Probably not, but I imagine it just needs the wiring harnesses.

This is the setup I had when my insurance company opted to use used parts and installed an 06-08 trunk and inner lamps on my '09. You def need the correct harnesses to make it work but honestly it doesn't flow right. In the daylight it looked OK, as mentioned the shapes aren't the same but not too noticeable. At night, the light pattern just didn't look right... It looked weird.
