Default Bent outter lip on rim. Easy repair?

Bent just a little of my lip. Not concerned about the rash, that's easy.
Could I just heat up the lip with heat gun and use wood block with rubber mallet to bang out?

Wouldn't really care too much if it wasn't work wheels. Lol

Any advice, thanks.

not sure if you want to bang it out with a rubber mallet and heat gun; doesn't sound like it can end well for your wheels. I would get them professionally repaired

Yes you can, I think you want to start on 1 side of the biggest bend below the 3. Go easy & increase force slowly if you need to. Try to visualize the bend happening in slow motion & try to reverse that sequence with your hammering. Try to make the rim contact the tire evenly. Once you get there remove tire & sand away the rough edge.

Aluminum does wonders with heat. But it will also have negative consequences in regards to strength.

My vote is for a professionally repair job. If your too cheap to have it done you're taking a chance on your safety.

Getting it repaired today. Also, need new tires. Price of having to camber your wheels i guess. sucks, these only had about 6k miles.

could it also be toe that is messed up?

Have it aligned as soon as possible & set back to factory specs. Any suspension modification that deviate away from the proper alignment will prematurely wear out your tires. Just think of this as a little lesson. (One that is going to cost you $$$). It could be worse. You could have had a blow out mid corner and wrecked/totaled your car.

Yeah I thought about just flipping it, but won't take the chance on this one. For the next set, I will

Just got it back. Pretty good job. Polishing could be a little better, but I can finish that off. Other than that, I can't tell where the bend was at.

Only thing I don't like is that the repair area doesn't have the oem coating protection now. Turns black when I use polish, but the other areas don't. Which will oxidize faster
