I took in my car to have the carbon deposit recall fix and after the repair, every morning my car idles at about 1.6k to 1.9k for about 5 minutes and then comes down when the car warms up.
Prior to the recall It would be significantly lower. Is that the normal amount of idling? I wanted to see if anyone was having a similar experience.
I guess the best question is, what would be considered normal idling on cold start?

I think normal especially cold start.
