Hello i have a 2007 awd is250, i have to replace the right rear outboard cv joint , the two metal halves are seperating and cannot figure out how to take it apart and rebuild it, i ordered a reman entire axle shaft and it was 2 inches too short so i was wondering if i can take the joint off of the new one and place it on the old one.

Have you addressed the wrong half shaft with the shipper? Sounds like they just sent you the wrong one, unless you ordered the wrong one.
