Default VSC Light After Passenger Lowbeam Replacement

I just replaced my passenger side headlight bulb and when I turned on my car I received a Check VSC message and a check engine light. Any idea what this could be? I made sure to reinstall the engine air filter correctly and plug the cable back in.

Did you plug the MAF sensor cable back in before turning on the ignition to test the lights? Or did you test the lights while the cable was still disconnected?
