Default 3rd fog light wire??? Please help.

So I'm finally installing my 2012 fsport bumper on my 2007 IS and noticed when taking my original bumper off that there's 3 fog light wires. One on the passenger side and two on the driver side. The question I have is what do I do with that 3rd black wire as I have no where to plug it into for the 2012 fsport bumper? Do I just leave it hanging? What is it for? Any help is much appreciated!

Here's a pic:

Headlight washer wire? Some markets require them, carmakers usually use the same wiring harness everywhere, and end up with a few extra wires.

If anyone has a source for shop manuals and wiring diagrams, I would be grateful and happily chase down issues like this one.

I don't have headlamp washers. I just check in my Owners Manual too and can't find anything.

I believe that wire may be for the Park Assist sensors. My understanding is that our cars are pre-wired for them whether your car is equipped with them or not. As i8thesun has stated, manufacturers use the same wiring harnesses during the assembly process. If the vehicle has certain options, those will be added on during assembly, otherwise the harness is left unplugged and tucked away.

If you don't have park assist, that wire just gets held onto the bumper. If you do, it plugs into a subharness that goes to the sensors.

It is unrelated to the fog lights and most likely is not meant to be plugged into anything on your car.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! Much appreciated! I guess I'll try to see if I can take the existing clip and move it over to the new bumper so I can keep it clipped on and not dangle around in the bumper.
