My battery is slowly dying on my 10' IS250. Where can I purchase a decent car battery besides the dealership?

I saved $30 and went with a local company that brands their own batteries with a 3yr warranty (Battery Specialists Inc). $50 battery win win! Even had the same specs as the factory battery, plus 30 additional CCAs.

I bought an Interstate at the suggestion of my mechanic friend at Lexus. Same battery as the Lexus but lower price.

They are both made by Johnson Controls, as is the Duralast Gold I mentioned earlier. I wouldn't say they are the same battery though.

I replaced my battery 10/2014 with an EverStart Maxx, MAXX-24 from Walmart. Specs: 700 CCA (0º F), 875 CA (32º F), 130 RC (reserve capacity), 71 AH rating. This battery is made by Johnson Controls.

I removed the battery carrying strap and cut two narrow slots in the Lexus battery cover/insulator to allow battery handle brackets to clear. Some just toss the battery cover/insulator but I prefer the look (and function?) of the cover.
