Default 07 IS250 major malfunction

Hello I'm posting to find out if anyone out there has any insight on what may be going on with my car.
I was leaving work the other night and the car started and drove fine. Half way home my navigation screen went black and music quit playing. Several lights displayed on the instrument cluster and on the middle screen it said "check VSC" + "check 4WD" my power steering went out and eventually all the lighting in the car shut off including the speedometer etc. Headlights remained on. The car made it home and parked. I shut it off and when I tried to turn it on the engine cranked and all interior lights, nav came back on but car wouldn't start. Tried the next day. Same thing. Engine cranked, accessories came on, headlights flickered while engine was cranking but they turned on when it quit cranking. Fast forward. Battery is completely dead, have to use key piece to unlock door manually. The car was in the dealership 2 months prior to this and passed all inspections. I haven't tested the battery or called any mechanics but I'm wondering if anyone else has experience anything similar and what I can possibly expect? Worst part is I was getting ready to sell the car and upgrade to a new model. Maybe it overheard me and died of a broken....uh. . Engine? Jokes. Thanks for reading. Best regards, Jake.

Thanks for your response. After some research it does seem the alternator could possibly be the culprit. Hopefully that's the only thing. Looking like it's about a $1000 fix.
Ha yeah how true don't know how I can sell it after this with a guilt free conscious. Would hate to sell someone else my problem. The car isn't in the garage so I'm kind of hoping it'll hail baseball's and problem solved haha.
