Airbag pice affecting vehicles

Anyone noticing this with trade ins or private sales of affected vehicles? Also is there an actual fix? I have heard that ford did not have a fix for mustangs that have been affected and people are selling them which is why I bring up the resell value drop.

I was hoping they would just give me $1k a month that I can't use the IS... oh well I'll take a 2016 Q70. Strange thing is they said they will keep my IS at the dealer until the parts are available.

Looks like the defective Takata inflators have claimed another life, and this poor woman wasn't even driving her car. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-au...-idUSKCN1140NJ

Well this is a huge problem as we all know. I am glad I figured out how to turn my
oassenger dash bag off just for for piece of mind that's it's inactive
I did receive a loaner car so Lexus IS taking care of business in my area.

Yes - tried to trade my IS350C in and several dealers told me they're taking $3k-$4k off of trade in values because Lexus won't let them sell the car on their used lot until after the recall is fixed. Lexus customer service has been terrible. I don't think I'll ever buy another Lexus.
