I did not have to remove the parking brake to do the job. I replaced the driver's rear because it was making a lot of noise. I then replaced the fronts because they were cheap and a much quicker job than the rear. I have the one for the right rear and am about to do that shortly...so I guess 2 years later I'm finishing the 4th hub. It's starting to make some noise now as well. The ABS Pulse ring is on the axle itself I believe, you'll see it once the hub is out.
