Default Ease of changing plugs in an IS350 and what plugs?

Mine is about to hit 100K and I don't believe they have ever been changed. I know the passenger side has easy access to the plugs. On the DS, it looks like the intake manifold might hang over a few of the access holes. Can you change the plugs without any interference from the intake or does it need to be somehow loosened and moved over for access?

Also, what are good, "out of the box" plugs to use on a stock IS350?

Thanks - Todd

Get the OEM plugs. Here is a DIY for changing spark plugs on your 350; credit goes to Javy.

I would only use the oem Toyota Denso ones, an no on the 350 the intake manifold will not be a problem only on 250

Get the plugs from Autozone, $15 each instead of $25 from the dealer. The PN is the same, just doesn't come in a Toyota box.

Hey Todd

How's it goin'. Hope you're enjoying the steering wheel. I bought my plugs from this guy:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/6pcs-Iridium...4AAOSw8RJXDHYK

This is the correct plug for your car. Of course, I got a set of 8. But, it is defiantly the correct plug. The seller ships quickly (from China) and the price is certainly right. I trust him. He also is prompt in answering eMails. I had trepidations at first, but liked the tone of his communications and took a chance. The Right Choice.

Hey Lou. Loving the steering wheel. Piece of cake doing the swap.

Thanks for the link. I'll definitely reach out to your eBay seller to see if he can sell me (6).

Regards - Todd

Are you sure they aren't counterfeit?

^^^^^I am absolutely positive Look at his feedback and check out the negative comments, none involve spark plugs. These are the real deal. And, as I posted, I have a set of 8 and they are genuine.

Just so you can be rest assured, the install should be a breeze with the right tools. The IM will not be in the way. Just be careful when moving the wiring harnesses around AND to remove any connectors that might be in your way instead of forcing in around it. After the years, the under-hood wiring/plastic becomes more brittle.

Report back if you find any oil on the plugs.

Bro, Japanese parts in our Asian countries is 5 times cheaper than America due to the heavy tax and import shipment, i guarantee you they are not counterfeit, i bought an ABS Sensor for my Solara 4 years ago it worked perfect without any problem, 2 ABS sensors = 20$ CND around 15$ USD dealership quoted 250$ CND.

I got cheap auto part from Hong Kong Shanghai and Taiwan. Most OEM parts are Made in China Vietnam and Taiwan.

Check the Mercedes wiring and Infiniti door handles, they are Made in Vietnam, ya i'm surprised every weekend whenever i'm at the Bodyshop !
