ECM Part number
Hello, I recently bought a 2006 is250 AWD and I was told that the engine computer (ecm/ecu) was bad and i have to replace it. I did some research and i think i found the part number for it (89661-53562), my problem is that it cost $400 at a used auto parts place and i really dont want to buy the incorrect part. Can someone out there double check for me if its the correct one, please? I can provide additional information if needed.

You can do a search here: http://www.mylparts.com/
It looks like it may be the right part; you can call them to be sure. It's a lot cheaper there too; and brand new. I haven't ordered stuff from them before but hear they're good.

$1,114.58 is definitely not cheaper than $400.
It also looks like that part is for an IS350, not an IS250.

How do you know your ECU is bad? What problems are you having? If you want a cheaper ECU, you should be able to find a used one on eBay for 200 so. Heads up, the vin will need to be rewrote to match yours and you will need to have the immobilizer reset to recognize the swapped ECU.
