No I just installed them plug n play so they come on with my parking lights.. I talked to a guy at work and he told me that every vehicle being sold these days 2015+ has tail lights on as a mandatory safety feature.
I'm happy to be honest I don't even think about it anymore haha.. I also put some electrical tape over my AFS light.. The electrical tape blends right in you can barely even see it haha

Metaleckz, what method did you use to wire the headlights?
This way?
I snipped the thinner solid red wire, then tapped it into the Black & White wire underneath it..
Then I changed the pin location of the Green Wire to the empty spot... Done.!!" solid green wire to the default third empty slot next to the white and black wire striped wire.

Installed my 2012 LED headlights last night.. installation went about as perfect as it could have.. I removed my HID kit from my fogs (3000K) as I was sick of how bright it was in the housing - running a stock bulb now still with yellow overlay. Headlights were fairly easy to install.. I followed the well known DIY that was posted almost 4 years ago now.. I still need to disable my DRL so that its just the LED strip that is on.. I have never used my hi beams in 5 years owning the 2 IS's I've had so i could care less about it. Big thanks to my buddy in town here that helped me with the install.
