60K Mile service cost $$
I'm getting close to the 60k mile service on my 2009 is350C and have been quoted ~ $1600 for the service. It sounds like a lot. Any recommendations on what needs to be done, or to have it done somewhere other than the Lexus dealer? Thank you.

go in the dealer and get the whole list of service items, bring it to a Toyota dealer and it costs about half. They use the same fluids

I just had it done 2 weeks ago. My dealership had 3 options for the service. I forgot the names but it was like "Essential, Expanded and Exclusive" or some BS like that. The "Essential" was pretty much spark plugs and an oil change with a lot of other BS inspections they threw in to make it look like a lot. They were priced at $759, $1079, and $1459 respectively, IIRC. I chose the cheapest and i didnt notice any difference in my car after. I only did it to keep in line with my warranty. They did find a cam cover leak that my warranty covered. My car has 70K miles btw.
