Default help on ebay lip

Hey everyone,

I've been looking to buy a lip for my 2is. i live in australia so the supply here is extremely limited. ive come across one on ebay, but i am unsure about the quality and fitment of it.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321531075...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

There are 125 of these sold so there has to be someone on here that has this lip??
Please post photos if you do! also, does the lip use the same holes as the oem lip? i dont really want to drill additional holes,

thanks!

ebay body kits are always hit or miss so someone might have perfect fitment while the same exact lip from the same exact vendor might have horrible fitment for someone else.

yeah i understand that, but i want to see some photos of users on here that have purchased this lip. The ebay listing only has 1 poor photo of the lip installed. i also want to know whether the lip uses factory mounting holes or requires to drill new holes?

My CF lip did not have the holes drilled in it. It is a rep as well.

I got one. Different year, but got it from the same seller. The holes are there and bolts on using the factory bolts. I put some 3M tape also though to make sure it was on tight. I have the fsport but the lip was for a non sport so fitment wasnt perfect, but pretty damn close.

As far fitment goes it's a hit or miss. However I'm sure with a really good shop they can make it work pretty well but I mean if the lip was made poorly then I imagine not even the best shop can fix that.. For me I have the gfx replica front and rear and the fitment is off. I have a small gap in between the lip and the bumper on the passenger side corner. To be honest though, at first I was super mad with how it came out . I was already planning on having them removed and getting a more reputable and expensive shop install them for me instead but I ended up just leaving them as is and honestly, I like how they look lol. Maybe it just grew on me or maybe I made a bigger deal out of it than I should have but my car gets compliments so who cares lol.

I got this exact lip from magicdrift. the fitment id say is 9/10. the lip already had predrilled holes with aligned to the holes that were already there from the OEM lip. All i had to do was take off the screws from the oem lip, take off the oem lip, put the new lip on with the old screws. took no more than 10 mins with the help of a few buddies
