I found that the air vent at the right of the amp is used and broken.

So I remove it, clean it up and put duck tape inside and outside the hole.

No more water will get in!

Hope this will help! 😉✌️

This won't allow air out when you select external air source. You still have another vent by the driver side, I wouldn't recommend closing this one though...

Yeah, I'd be careful about doing this. Those vents help provide ventilation for the car. Reduces moisture/condensation. Need to remember the trunk is usually cooler than the rest of the car, so that cold moist air is just sitting in there becoming mold over time if those vents are blocked.

What would you suggest to cover the hole? a towel?

Change the bumper air vent. If that doesn't work. Wrap a small towel around the amp

I had this problem recently, but discovered my vents were intact. I added a layer of foam to the one by the amp, and that appears to have solved the issue!

Default Removal of rear vent question.

Good evening, were those that removed the vents able to just have them pop off or was bumper/ liner removal necessary?

it might be condensation building up in the inside of the amp so try drying it out and looking into moisture packs you can put near the amp to see if it works

Update. The replacement Amp still works!
