Looking to upgrade my is250 2012 exhaust (again) to Invidia Q300. I had a oem custom Magnaflow with custom axel back (cheats pipes and only $250 plus labor) and although the startup sound was awesome and the acceleration sound was nice too, but cruising at 2000 - 2900 rpm generated too much cabin drone. Forced me to drive with paddle shifters to get over 3000 rpm quickly and stay there.

So, does better qualify exhaust equate to less or no drone like the Q300? Or does someone know an exhaust system known for extreme low drone? No midpipe for me either, won't pass CA smog.
