I see that scosche has posted a dash kit that replaces the climate controls, so you can supposedly just drop in a double DIN aftermarket stereo?! Has anyone gotten this and tried it yet? http://www.scosche.com/ls2151b#produ...eatures_tabbed
It looks pretty good. Definitely a good option if I don't have an after market nav. It would be better if the climate control is on the bottom instead.

The site says it's for 2006-2013.
2009 up models have different vents above the unit. Compatibility may not work/have a gap.
Also the manual models for the 2IS have a differerent sized piece that is under the OEM radio itself.
What design is better the scosche kit or this kit that places the headunit under the factory climate controls? Would like opinions as I am thinking about this mod next.
I got the beat sonic kit because it was the only one that I knew existed. I still haven't got it installed yet though. This Scochse kit I must say looks better though. It raises the headunit up to where it is a more useable angle.

Both are outdated. I'm gonna try and do an OEM navi swap and get a vaistech unit to screen mirror. Looks great and is OEM
