I have about 151 k and its the RWD model and no I have not done a transmission drain and fill on it.
I was advised my many mechanics not to do it at this point because it may do more harm than good.

For what it's worth, I recently had my 2007 IS250's transmission serviced at 150k. I have the P2757 code popping up, my wife has been driving it like that for a while and never really noticed anything. It hasn't been serviced and while the techs said not to do it...I had them do it anyways. Fresh fluid HAS to be better, right? Almost immediately, I started noticing problems. Now it shutters coming out of slow corners and their is sometimes a medium frequency vibration at cruise that wasn't there before. Again, this is just my experience. Time for a trans swap. It's funny that the local Toyota techs advised not to change fluid until after 100k and then at 100k...they advised not to do it after 100k.

Default Update

Again.
So after a month since the Transmission Software Update made by the dealer:
(5th time) Yesterday the car stuck on the 3rd gear + rpm accelerate.
No trouble code.
I shut the engine off, waited 2 minutes and turned it on.
The car works fine.
Tomorrow i will try to replace the solenoid and do some ATF WS drain/fill.

As you can see it is quite involved. Maybe they will just clean the ports in your heads instead of fixing the issue.

But who knows what the problem you are experiencing is. maybe something simple. Let us know what you find out..

if my dealer charged me $900 bucks and they did that i would so pay going to ask this saturday

Default Update

Update
so about 3 month later with 138,000km on the clock,
A new error message appears-
p2757: torque converter clutch pressure control solenoid control circuit performance or stuck off

the symptoms are strange rpm, little vibrates, not a smooth shifts.

Today i opened the transmission again and replaced the SLU solenoid, atf change (2.7L drained out), atf filter, complete solenoids harness, atf gasket.

Something strange is the atf amount-
i drained exactly 2.7L from the drain plug, pan off, atf filter off,and put back 2.7L of new fluid (Toyota WS).
When i checked the fluid level ive noticed that it was below the minimum. So i filled up an extra 2L, checked again and 0.5L drained out through the level plug (30c, engine on, car leveled). Means a total lack of 1.5 (!) L.

I hope this all will solve the problems with the trans, will update in any change.

Did your fluid fill up fix the problem?
I'm having the same problem as you and my car is at 170,000 miles (~275,000 km) with transmission fluid never been touch or replaced because I trusted the manual. I suspect that my transmission may be blown.

the traction control light is on, you can see it (the orange light) in the right-bottom corner in the dashboard.
Hi just wanted to know did your traction control light came up because of that or was off already?

Hello, I have Lexus IS 250 from 2006 year with automatic transmission and I have codes P2757 and C1201. I changed the solenoid, oil and filter for the transmission.

Are these codes connected with the ecm and tcm, should I buy knew computer or the problem is with transmission? Has anyone solved this problem?

Default Ended up swapping my trans

I ended up swapping my Tranny. 2 years 3 years ago I posted asking if there was a fix. My friend and I had the same issue. We both bought transmissions from eBay and had a shop put them in. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Default Why not replace Solenoid D?!

Now im going to the dealer to check if there is any Update for the transmission and check if the problem is in the Solenoid itself.

all the issues on the forums are regarding p2757 not 2714 so I’m having lots of trouble finding just the part number. From what I have learned I thought I needed 35280-
But I may actually need part 35230-30010?

you are the only guy with code p2714 solely and not p2757. I too only have p2714. Can you recall the part number??!

the dealer said I needed the first one (35280)but there was another poster gigazuns who had both p2714 and p2757 and he got two 35280 parts from the dealer to only have another CEL pop up that was ONLY p2714 2 weeks later. The dealer told him he now needs 35230. So since I only have p2714 I should get 35230, but the dealer told me to get 35280!?

I told the dealer and they said get the other one! Wtf!

again I have p2714 solenoid d issue
which part do I get?
35230-30010
or 35280

update: eBay reseller told me it is not 35230 so I am going to go with shlomie. Just sucks he didn’t leave a part number. And it’s confusing as hell that his p2714 went away and p2757 is what his problem became so I am not sure if I should tackle it the same. Guess I will start with a tech stream update first

Update: dealer did tell me to get 35280. I’ll try to update. This thread got hijacked by p2757! What about me?! P2714?! Lol

ty all for being helpful!

update: talking to a master mechanic / old friend. He says to replace the tranny. I showed him shlomie11’s post. He said it will be me time but that’s it.

i think I’m going to try it. Better then the alternative. I wish shlomie would update us!
