Default Touchscreen not working, climate control question

My AC is stuck ON, green light under "AC" on my screen is always on. Any way to turn off the ac and get my heat going? I can manually adjust the temperature but my heat only works as the car is in motion, as soon as I stop, say at a red light, the warm air will gradually turn cold. But then as soon as I start moving again, thirty sec later it starts blowing warm air again. Unsure if there's another issue, but other cars I've been in, even with the ac mode on and the heat on, it normally stays warm or hot whether the car is in motion or idle. Thanks in advance

The AC can be ON, and it should still be blowing warm air. It's probably another issue causing the cold air.
