Default head light

I really should know the answer to this question but I don't. I have a 07 IS250 w/ factory HIDs and AFS. I understand that replacing it with non OEM I lose the AFS. If I did replace the headlight, could I replace it with an aftermarket non HID? Where I could replace the headlight and get a ballast separately for it. Just been through two sets of headlights where ballast have gone and I'm tired of the work involved, especially in the cold weather.

VipMotoz is a popular aftermarket headlight that comes with non-hid. You can install HID Kit in them if you want they're H7.

Its all plug and play the only thing you would have to do is drill a hole on the back cover of the headlights so that the wire can get access. They have a marked the holes for you so it's very simple. They have a video if you need a guide.

No. When you remove your current headlights, your factory HIDs will go out with them. With this, you would use a HID ballast compatible with the H7 bulbs.

The lights are different

I understand that I would have to use a separate HID ballast. What I'm asking is if I take out my current headlights, and put in these headlights following the video, will they work?

Yes, these are plug and play. I have an 07 that came with Auto leveling lights. I pulled the fuse to prevent the warning light. In addition to the vipmotoz headlights I installed a morimoto 50w hid kit with relay wirenarness. I'm satisfied with the output.

If you want to do that. Purchase mine :P

That will replace the headlights, housings, bulbs, HIDs. I went through exactly what you're talking about when I replaced my HID/AFS OEMs.
