Default Considering a 2007 IS350 to buy......

Questions:

1) Does anyone run ethanol-free gas in their V6?
2) Does anyone run 93 octane? Happier vs 91 octane?

3) Does anyone put 0w20 synth. in their rides?

I put 93 octane in my 07. No other choice as next down is 89 in NC. All gas around me has 10% ethanol. Run full synthetic. I'd get an 08 if I were you. I got an 07 as a compromise. 08 has upgraded steering ECU, graphite colored rims, and scooped out rears of front seat so larger rear leg room.

I've ran only 93 (as that is exclusively what we have in SC). I've tried running ethanol-free 93 octane, and have come to the conclusion that it didn't effect MY fuel efficiency in any measurable difference. I've only ever run 5W-30 full syn Mobil 1.

As I've found out personally, if you want to help increase fuel mileage, you might to consider a trans flush. I've seen 10%+ gains in MPG per tank!

Just get the car, you won't regret it.

1) Doubt that exists in most places. The lowest I've seen here in Portland is 10%
2) I'd imagine 93 would make more of a difference if the car was tuned versus stock. I doubt the difference is very noticeable, although it might be better for the engine.
3) No idea.

Out of curiosity what other cars have you looked at in addition to the 350?
