Default TPMS help

Car '06 250. I had the low pressure light come on which is typical when it gets cold so I put more air in and it went off. But then maybe a week later I got this 'check system' TPMS light. How can I fix this? Can I reset it somehow?

Set the pressure to where you want it and initialize it. theres a button on the left hand side of your steering wheel that look something like this <O>

or you may have it on the 2nd sensors instead of first?

Most likely one of the TPMS sensor's battery has died, and you need to replace the sensor in the tires. They typically last 10 years.

Sounds like a leak somewhere. I dont think its the sensor after adding air light went out. Spray water with soap around the tire look for any bubbles and the valve stem it might be a small nail crack rim from the inside or a bad stem that is slowly leaking.

I'm with nosurprise on this. "LOW TIRE" means a problem with air pressure. "CHECK SYSTEM" means that the car isn't getting a signal from the selected set of sensors. Since he has "CHECK SYSTEM" it's either a bad sensor, or he accidentally set it to read the alternate set of sensors.

I will tell you everything about this! I should have all ther answers to this one.
First off you must know if the tires are original to your specific car because each sensor is registered into the car. This isnt something you can do yourself.
Also you very well could have a leak buy a tire pressure gauge like the dial ones and check the pressue. Assumeing the tires are original the correct pressues should be found written on drivers side door.
As mentioed above there is 2 sets of modes your car will check for try both modes with the button to thte left side of the steering wheel. See if it goes away.
If you have a low battery or dead battery since the car cant read the pressue code will show.
Next if you want to replace the TPMS you can get one off ebay used or new and have it installed but it needs to be programed for the code to go away.
NTB's tool doesnt work or the workers dont know how to do it. Iv tried 3 locations.
Discount Tire has a tool and it will work They may not even charge you for doing it.
Dealer will charge you for this service.

All they do it take the machine to each tire read the pressure and then program thru OBDII. Also some spare tires might have TPMS it should read 60 PSI but i dont recall if they even do.
