Default Black Sapphire Pearl, Blue Onyx Pearl, & Deep Sea Mica differences?

Anyone have detailed, in-depth insight about the differences between these three colors offered in various years on the IS lineup? In photos, these three dark blue's look identical. I believe the this is the order they were used; please let me know otherwise:
  • 2006 had "Blue Onyx Pearl" Color Code: 8P8
  • 2007 - 2010 had the "Black Sapphire Pearl" Color Code: 8U0
  • 2011 - 2013 had the "Deep Sea Mica" Color Code: 8V3
Tried surfing the web and only found minimal information:
  • Deep Sea Mica is apparently a tad lighter than Black Sapphire according to post #2 in this thread.
  • I would assume Blue Onyx Pearl and Black Sapphire Pearl are exactly the same given that there was this color thread with both these colors categorized together?

I really like the dark blue on the IS and I plan to buy a 2006-2008 IS350 and do a 2011 front bumper conversion on it, but wanted to be be sure about the color differences, if any. I don't want to bring the 2011 bumper to get paint-matched - I'd rather go with the pure black then.

Will do. I'm on the hunt for local 350's for sale too. In regards to yours, I need to heavily consider the ramifications of buying your car simply because you're across the country. Plus, I need to have the topic of this thread addressed.
