iPhone 7 doesn't connect via bluetooth
I recently got a new iPhone 7 plus and I'm trying to connect it to my Lexus IS 250 (2008) but the phone is not finding the car's signal. Do you know how to fix this issue?
Thanks!
Thanks!

They have phone bluetooth functionality, but not A2DP support for music playback if OP has the nav system (If it counts at all, I have no issues connecting my 7 Plus to my 08). AFAIK, the non-nav does not have BT at all for this year.
Assuming you do have the nav, you are doing the pair function on the nav, right?

This just happened to me with my new to me IS. Phone worked but no streaming music.
The issue was I had to delete the phone associated with the previous owner before adding mine.
I believe it was:
Setup - Manage phones - Delete Phones
delete all phones including yours then re-add it
note: i also read online ppl having luck with resetting their iphone (but i didn't want to lose my settings)
settings - general - reset

I'm assuming your IS came with the blue tooth to connect the phone and you were able to connect your previous. If so, I would delete all phones that the car has had linked previously. It's possible there are too many phones. I believe there is limited around six or eight devices. If they phone doesn't connect, you can try rebooting your phone or resetting it. You can also try clearing all the settings in the car's settings.
If you're talking about the streaming audio via blue tooth in your car, that feature wasn't implemented till 2009 or 2010. You'll need to get an adapter AD2P for it. There are plenty of posts on various options that will fit your budget and wants.
