Loud squeeking after oil change
Changed my oil yesterday and realized that my filter is leaking oil for some reason? Oil levels were a bit high but I'm gonna drain some tofay since I couldn't finish up last night.
Would excessive oil cause an oil leak on the filter?
also, starting the vehicle now causes a squeek, I spilled some oil yesterday, a Google search suggests oil is on the belts, anyone can chime in on this?

To be honest this is not one I have seen before / heard of before as the filter would still have the same amount of oil going through it regardless of whether your engine had the exact amount of oil needed vs too much oil.
I would be checking your filter casing to make sure it's seated properly and that the O-rings are back on how they should be.
Drain the filter, take it off and check it all before re-seating it properly.
