I've found a local 2012 low mileage IS250 with a clean Carfax showing that service was done as Lexus Dealers. Would it still be covered by the 7 year 70,000 mile drive train warranty? I suppose I should check with the dealer. Anyone know when Lexus started putting in the newer design pistons/rings at the factory? I know it didn't fix the entire problem but it allegedly helped. I really like the 2nd gen body style better then the 3rd so I'm kinda sold on a 2012 or 2013 model.
