I was just put on the list after the airbag recall. Was told the wait was between 12 and 20 months!

I've been waiting about 2 years now. Can't remember the exact date. I'm getting a little ticked now.

15 months now. 5 no call backs from dealer when I leave a message. I want out of this POS but the dash, panels, and air bag is preventing me from selling this crap. I was told 10 months for panels and dash...month 15 wtf??? No ETA on airbag.

Bull**** part is friends gf is family of sales guy and her interior got replaced immediately.

Never will I buy a Lexus again while I'm in Honolulu. Servco Lexus IS full of scammers and thieves

Update: Got a call from Lexus in Plano saying they had my parts in. So I call them back and ask them why they have them when i put in my recall at my local lexus in Shreveport. (4hrs away). They dont ship body panels to other dealerships. I called my dealership and told them what was going on and they said oh we have those parts in for multiple different vehicles that are just extra in our warehouse. Long story short i got my dash and door panels replaced finally and it only took them 4 hours to replace them all too. Car looks almost like a brand new car its a night and day difference.

Had my recalls done last week, and was added on the list.

Said i'd have to wait 2 weeks. Not mad, as my baby has 164K and can use a nice refresh

Going to copy-paste what I posted in another similar thread:

Just bought a used '08 IS250 last week and the dashboard came sticky and the door panels had nudges or whatever you want to call em. I was reading around on the internet and read about this recall.

I was wondering, what do I need to do for this? I get it'll probably take some time (was skimming the posts in this thread).

Should I just call up my nearest Lexus dealer and tell them about the recall?

Thanks in advance!

Take the car up and have it inspected. A good idea to get any recall work done as well

Check mylexus.com enter your vin and look if there is any recalls necessary

It's been about a little over a month since I contacted them. They said my turn should be up any day now.

Got a call yesterday and the received my dash panel, no door panels though. Getting my dash replaced on Tuesday. What's annoying is they said that they can't give me a loaner but will give me an Enterprise rental, which defeats the purpose because I would have to get someone to take me to the rental place. It's only been 3 months, thought it's been longer.
